Our Story

ALTO began when its founder, Patrick, met Alice, his 84-year-old neighbour, who felt lonely despite living among people.

Seeing Alice alone stayed with Patrick and led him to explore the topic of loneliness and the importance of intergenerational connections.

Through research, conversations, and real-life encounters, a simple idea emerged: making human connection easier and part of everyday life again.

That idea became ALTO — a growing community built on trust and shared time across generations.
